Meet Our New General Managers at Dunadry, Dunsilly and Corr’s Corner

We’re delighted to announce three new general manager appointments across our Northern Ireland hotels. Jonny Bailie takes the helm at Dunadry Hotel & Gardens, Scott Smyth joins Dunsilly Hotel, and Kris Cunningham steps up at Corr’s Corner Hotel.

Jonny Bailie, Dunadry Hotel & Gardens

Jonny’s McKeever story began 15 years ago behind the bar at Corr’s Corner, working part-time while studying for his master’s degree. He became food and beverage manager at Dunsilly Hotel in 2012, then moved to Dillons Hotel in Letterkenny, rising to deputy general manager in 2014 and general manager in 2017. In 2020 he returned to Corr’s Corner as general manager.

Jonny holds a BSc Hons in Business Studies from Ulster University and a master’s in Business Development and Innovation. He is also a guest lecturer at Ulster Business School.

Scott Smyth, Dunsilly Hotel

Scott brings more than 23 years of hospitality experience, most recently as events manager at The Lodge Hotel in Coleraine. There, he helped grow the hotel’s weddings, events and conferencing business and, as a board member of Causeway Chamber of Commerce, helped establish The Lodge as a hub for local networking and business events.

At Dunsilly, Scott will lead the hotel team, support junior managers, strengthen day-to-day operations and identify new revenue opportunities. He holds an ILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management from Northern Regional College and remains a council member of Causeway Chamber of Commerce.

Kris Cunningham, Corr’s Corner Hotel

Kris joined McKeever Hotels in 2010 as a waiter at the Adair Arms in Ballymena. He progressed through a number of roles before joining the management team at Dunsilly Hotel, where he became general manager in 2024. At Corr’s Corner, Kris will oversee the hotel’s day-to-day operation, from budgets and staffing to guest experience.
