McKeever Hotels Appoints Giulia as Bar Manager of The Meridian

McKeever Hotels is delighted to announce the appointment of Giulia as Bar Manager of The Meridian, the new cocktail-led bar at Armagh City Hotel inspired by the city’s astronomy heritage.

Originally from Frascati, a small town just outside Rome, Giulia began her hospitality journey at hospitality school aged 14.

“I initially dreamed of becoming a chef, but I quickly realised that what really inspired me was being on the other side of the pass, connecting with people and creating an experience for them.”

Starting out as a barista, Giulia’s fascination with cocktails led her to the Mixology Academy. After moving to Belfast, she built her career through venues including SHU, The Merchant, The Rabbit Hotel and Titanic Hotel Belfast.

“Throughout my career, I’ve always been drawn to places that give me the opportunity to learn something new, push myself and create something meaningful. That is what makes The Meridian so special to me.”

Joining from the very beginning, Giulia will help shape the identity, atmosphere and experience of the venue, not just the bar itself.

“My vision for The Meridian is simple: to create a bar with soul. A place where exceptional cocktails meet genuine hospitality, where every detail has a purpose, and where guests feel that there is something worth discovering every time they walk through the door.”

The Meridian opens at Armagh City Hotel in November 2026.
