Charity of the Year
At McKeever Hotels, supporting the communities where we live and work has always been at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to announce Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke (NICHS) as our Charity of the Year, marking a new partnership focused on health, wellbeing, and making a real difference across Northern Ireland.
This partnership reflects our We Do More culture and our ongoing commitment to giving back in meaningful, practical ways.
Our Commitment
From 1st October 2025, all six of our Northern Ireland hotels – Dunadry Hotel & Gardens, Corr’s Corner Hotel, Dunsilly Hotel, Adair Arms Hotel, The Lodge Hotel, and Armagh City Hotel – will work together to support Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke.
Funds raised throughout the year will help NICHS deliver vital care services, prevention programmes, and research that supports people living with chest, heart, and stroke conditions across Northern Ireland.
Why Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke?
At least 400,000 people in Northern Ireland are living with a chest, heart, or stroke condition. Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke provides essential support to help individuals and families manage these conditions and rebuild their lives.
With almost 90% of its income coming from public donations, the charity relies heavily on the support of local communities and businesses. As a family-owned business, we are proud to support an organisation that delivers such a lasting impact close to home.
Our Initiative
Led by our Managing Director, Eddie McKeever, we have developed a year-long programme of fundraising activities involving our teams, guests, and suppliers. These initiatives are designed to make it easy for everyone to get involved and support the cause. Many of our existing initiatives will continue, including:
Green Rooms
Where guests can opt out of housekeeping in exchange for a £5 charity donation
Collections & Events
In-house charity collections and fundraising events
Volunteering
Volunteering opportunities across our hotels
Coffee Fundraising Campaign
Our popular coffee fundraising campaign will also continue. For every cup of tea or coffee sold across our Northern Ireland hotels, we will donate 5p to Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke.
With tens of thousands of cups served each year, this simple initiative will help generate vital funding to support NICHS services.

After raising over £20,000 for NI Children’s Hospice in 2024, we’re excited to build on that momentum with a new charity partnership that focuses on health and wellbeing.
